COVID-19: Dubai announces new travel protocols

Dubai’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management announced on Friday changes to the travel protocol to and from Dubai, with the aim of easing travelling procedures.

Emiratis are exempted from the PCR tests before leaving the country they are coming from regardless of the destination or the period of travel. They are only required to take a test upon arrival at any of the emirate’s ports.

Meanwhile, a COVID-19 test remains a basic requirement for residents and tourists before coming to Dubai. Transit travelers coming from certain countries or headed to countries that require a PCR test must continue to do so.
